Graduates will report to the BCI gymnasium no later than 12:20pm on Saturday, MAY 18th . Students will be placed in the line of march. Students will then proceed to the stadium.

GRADUATION DECORUM

Commencement is both a joyous and solemn event. Please express your excitement in ways that

will not prevent others from hearing the speaker and enjoying the ceremony. Please do not

whistle, yell, or do anything that may interfere with the reading of names during the ceremony.

Make sure that when you show pride in your graduate, you aren’t drowning out the recognition

of another.

Do not bring beach balls, silly string, water pistols, noisemakers or any other items that will

disrupt the formal atmosphere of the ceremony. Students who violate these rules will not receive

a diploma and will have to petition the school board to receive it and may be removed from the

ceremony. Students should arrive at graduation dressed appropriately with nothing extra except

their cap and gown.

RAIN DATE

Every attempt will be made to hold graduation outside. The weather forecast will dictate the status of the ceremony. The decision to postpone the ceremony until the following day will be made by 12:30 pm on graduation day. Any decision about postponing the ceremony will be sent out through email and the BHS Instagram page and Remind. If, on the following day, the weather does not permit the ceremony to proceed outside, the ceremony will be moved to the high school gymnasium on May 19th with seating limited to 5 guests per graduate. In this worst-case scenario, graduation may be simplified.

GATES OPEN

The stadium will open to the public at 12:00pm on graduation day. Please be in your seats by 12:50pm.

STREAMING

Bellbrook Graduation 2024 will be streamed on the district youtube channel. SENIOR SIGNS

Seniors signs will line the path to the stadium. Seniors are encouraged to take their signs

home with them after the graduation ceremony!

DIPLOMAS

Graduates will receive their diplomas after the ceremony in the BCI gymnasium, assuming that

all expectations and rules are followed and fees are paid in full. Parents should plan to meet their students after students have picked up their diplomas.

The next few weeks will be some of the most memorable of your young lives. Please make sure they are positive memories. Be constructive and not destructive. Poor choices often have bad consequences. The Class of 2024 has set a fine example for our younger students and I expect that they will continue to do so during their final days at BHS.
